Dr Jane Iles

Associate professor of clinical psychology, Surrey University.

Dr Jane Iles is a Clinical and Research Psychologist, and is Clinical Director on the Clinical Psychology Training programme at the University of Surrey. Jane has a longstanding interest in perinatal mental health. Her research has focused on maternal and paternal mental health, with a particular interest in postnatal post-traumatic stress and depression, and the possible link with outcomes for children.


Jane has also been involved in the development and use of video-feedback approaches (VIPP) for families with young children, and has worked on a number of different research studies exploring the use and effectiveness of this intervention with families. Jane’s clinical background is working with children, young people and families in CAMHS settings.
